Malapai media: A Dream That Grew Into Something More
Malapai Media officially came to life in March 2026, but its roots began growing many years ago.
Long before it had a name, Malapai was an idea built on a passion for creativity, connection, and helping businesses grow. Today, we bring thoughtful strategy and creative storytelling together to help brands communicate with intention, connect with their audiences, and grow in ways that feel true to who they are.
We believe great marketing starts with understanding people: what makes a business unique, what matters to its audience, and how to bring the two together. Every business has a story worth telling, and we're here to help tell it.
Meet our founder
Hi, I'm Arley!
I'm a marketer, creative thinker, and the founder of Malapai Media. With more than six years of experience in social media, content creation, digital advertising, website creation, and brand strategy, I love helping businesses find their voice and bring their ideas to life.
My entrepreneurial journey started at 16, when I opened my first business with my sister and cousin. We had plenty of ideas and a lot to learn, but that experience sparked a love for marketing that followed me through college, internships, and my career. After graduating from Utah Tech University in 2024 with a Bachelor's in Marketing, I began a job here in Prescott helping tell the story of the place I call home through destination marketing, social media management, and website creation. Along the way, I began building Malapai on the side, starting with one client and growing into the business it is today.
When I'm not dreaming up my next creative idea, you'll probably find me teaching Pilates, hiking with my husband and our dachshund, Frank, or escaping to the pines for a camping trip. Northern Arizona is home, and I'm proud to build a business here while helping other local businesses tell their stories!
Malapai: Rooted in Arizona
MALAPAI (mal • pie - as the locals say it!) a rugged, volcanic landscape found throughout the Southwest.
Malapai is more than a name, it's a reminder of where I come from. Growing up in rural Arizona, some of my favorite memories were made outdoors, whether hiking, hunting, fishing, or simply exploring. To me, the name represents the wild places, conservation, and Arizona roots that will always be a part of who I am, no matter where this journey takes me.
